I’ve been pressured more to drink alcohol than to smoke weed or do drugs (Yes I know alcohol is technically a drug) I rarely drink and people find it weird as well. I see no joy or point in it either.

I went to a Mexican restaurant recently and ordered a virgin margarita-the server, who obviously thinks that tequila is a required food group, questioned me for an extended period-ultimately I think I ended up with tequila in my very large margarita. Felt horrible for 2 days!

I live in New Orleans where alcohol is a way of life. I stopped drinking in 2010 when I had gastric bypass and have finally just stopped going places where a lot of drinking is going on because I’ve realized how much I dislike being around drunk people.
