Yes. They do treat celebrities like they're not human and even come with no self-awareness of that unhealthy obsession. Celebrities are humans who are doing their jobs while people watch them or listen to them for entertainment purposes. The illusion of fame and popularity is because they're out there with many eyes on them, but everyone's eyes look at humans when they go out into public.
