Whats weird to me is that you need specific teams to do damage now? Like back then you could pull one character and if you built them correctly you would be ok. It was literally me and my ganyu against the world.

I am unfortunately one of the people who left after sumeru. Played a little bit of Fontaine and then never came back until last week. Jesus Christ, my characters and teams are ASS. It’s really just my hutao and alhaitham team against the world rn while I build escoffier, wriosthesly, and mizuki bc I don’t have anyone else 😭

left during sumeru. qiqi is my fav and miko is fun to use, i come back and theyre meta??? i thought the new compass was first used in snezhnaya but its from nod krai??? condensing artifacts in exp is so nice. but then doing hundreds of thousands of damage is the norm now for properly done teams??? i thought it was crazy that my yanfei could do 30k

My friend, who is an Aloy main, came back after he left at the start of Sumeru. When I went to help him with bosses, the first time he teleported away because he didnt know they auto respawn now

Still half salty they added map layers after sumeru to get back players they lost. I suffered for nothing 😭 but also it’s a core genshin memory now of suffering and running around sumeru getting lost or being unable to teleport in case I can’t get back and being stuck there til I finish the quest. The gameplay got easier and more boring in some ways. People really missed out.

i left during chasm quest and came back to the game with GUNS.. i finished rekviem first so i can get varesa and make my life easier during exploration in sumeru and so on 😭😭

i stopped after inazuma and would only log in to speedrun archon quests after a year they were finished. but i fell in love again with playing and exploration with nod krai. im just happy to be able to catch up to snezhnaya now.

Hi omg thats me, hi hello, im a 1.0 player that left during the sumeru dessert era and came back last version XD Honestly its a very trippy experience since i came back after seeing vesnas character plus it also being the anniversary so there was at least smth for me to come back to, its been refreshing since i left genshin because of burnout but all of the new stuff makes it almost feel like a new game and it has felt exciting and new! Its been great really, im happy i came back oh also vesna and vodyanitsa make it all worth it.

i am one of those people, i left in inazuma era before sumeru was added, then came back, havent played a lot but damn, seeing the traveller play call of duty or seing the what i thougt was a medieval world suddenly having spaceships to go to the moon was definitely something
