I had a Cortizone shot every three months for several years because I was the breadwinner of my family and had to work and according to my Pain Management and Back Specialist, they had said that I had the worst to my back than if I had did anything else to it because it broke down the tissue and the bone structure around the spinal cord and that I should have went to a specialist at that time instead of just playing around with my PCP doctor getting the Cortizone shots every three months but that’s all I could have did at that time and now I am under the age of 50 and had to have a back fusion due to the simple fact of my vertebrae being very weak and breaking up quicker. I have DDD/DJD because of the issue of taking Cortizone shots as well as inheritance
