One thing i realised this patch was that she might me straying away from the IPC since her stoneheart chant from 4.6 is different from the one in 4.1. Every stoneheart says “All for the amber lord” at the end of their chant to show the loyalty to to qlipoth and the IPC but in the 4.6 chant she didnt say that

I mean tsaritsa’s hypocrisy works well as a narrative tool if we see it as some kind of propaganda tool for her ultimate plan. Like the reason she’s so kind to Lumine is probably, because she’s heard the stories about her and needs someone to fight her wars. Turning her away would mean making another enemy of someone powerful such as Lumine. The whole thing with the children works narratively well as well, because why would the tsaritsa herself admit that she’s using children as tools of war when Lumine is known for her endless altruism and good-natured morality? If she herself admitted that she doesn’t care about children in a room full of other people, she would have no one to fight her wars. The genshin devs aren’t known for their great execution, but the writing isn’t necessarily flawed.

tbf with the IPC by what we seem so far the ten stone hearts are the only somewhat good part that actually care about preserving life and people even tho their methods are controversial they always show genuine worry Abt the worlds they are meant to save and always do everything in their power to efficiently save these worlds but they need to gain something in exchange and that is not necessarily evil or mean intentioned most of the evil stuff IPC did was on the other departments in the stone hearts we trust

well you see you answered the reason why comparing these two have no sense at all. Anastasya is literally “forced” to love humanity. she is detached to a point she barely understands who she truly is and what she feels because she doesn’t know whether those things were programmed into her or is she truly feeling them. not to mention you are comparing a character who wasn’t even yet fully fleshed out and for now is showing us only her “icy exterior” to a character who had more content so far

it's really shocking how so many people genuinely don't understand that Tsaritsa does mean well and wants everyone to be free , someone with good intentions and good ideals but questionable ways , and we don't know enough about her and her story she just did enough that we could recognize her trope , idk girl only in hoyo fandom you see this stuff and idk if it's a gacha player thing or just hoyo fandom in general
