Dallas needs a true running trail that is not pavement. One that is dirt like the awesome trail in Austin . Part of Katy trail is rubber, but its a thin layer over concrete.

I live between NYC and Dallas and when I came here for the first time someone told me “oh you need to go to the Katy Trail,it’s like our little Central Park”. 😬😳Sorry I still don’t see it.

We now have a direct connection between the Hi Line Trail and the Katy. That was the big improvement. The arches on top were just to make it pretty
