I work in data entry. It is very accommodating for me. I personally love repetitive tasks and spreadsheets. It is not a job many people could do for a long time. It would bore most people to tears.

I am autistic and love the idea of an IT job, working from home-- as long as I don't have to deal with people. It's the people, over the phone, that are really draining on me.

Hi, I don’t think any group of people should be generalized. People as individuals can like different things and have different skills. Too often good skilled people are overlooked due to stereotypes.

The big thing is the company you work for. You need a job that interests you and a company that sees your strengths and that you are worth the accommodations.
