My gramps served in Vietnam and he said he had gotten shot at more time than he could count and last Veterans Day I asked so what was the war like and little did I know I should and you should never ask what a veterans experience was in the war because he had said he saw people/his own family and friends die by his side he said a Vietnam soldier had went over him and his comrades and he didn’t see them so he turned and welp shot him also he said he had to bring his friends flag home…😕 so whatever you do pls don’t ask what a veterans experience was bc it’s heartbreaking💔
