and let me guess, the state doesn't require insurance to cover the cost, there's a fee and you get on a waiting list for an in-person class taught every 3rd Thursday or 5th Monday of the month at 9 am. 🙃

South Georgia medical center requires women to take an epidural education class! why can't the anesthesiologist just explain the risks etc before giving it to the mama? How is she supposed to know if she will get one or not?

If they’re requiring this, then they need to add a required education class that all parents or caregivers have to take before they opt out of any vaccinations. It’s all about educated risks, right?

Georgia mama here! Definitely not true for any hospital in or around the metro Atlanta area. I think that’s specifically for a South Georgia hospital. Still 100% ridiculous. Especially given that hospital is in a lower income rural area.

I had my oldest in MS and I had to take a class in order to get one but this was 20 years ago. It wasn’t required in LA where my other 2 were born.

According to Google it's a must on South Georgia Medical Center (SGMC) in Valdosta, GA . The other hospitals in Georgia recommend but not a must
