Also ,I noticed on joinbrands, their business model feels SO shady. For many products, in order to do a UGC video for the brand you have to buy the product. Even though they're going to reimburse you after it's done, it feels shady, especially when the gig pays $10-$40. I just don't feel real comfortable with that particular business model.

Yeah. Joinbrand works for brands. I just got to know that you have to maintain 4plus stars for a year to get to level 2 and the picture with a product gigs do not count. Also all the good gigs are on pro and you have to pay $45/month for that. Even backstage membership is cheaper.

Thank you for making this video! I totally agree! Unfortunately, a lot of apps and ugc platforms are exploding creators, especially new creators and paying them so little while they know exactly how expensive it is to get a video made by an advertisement agency!!
