@dannypatty92: Papaw Daddy Dan here, and tonight's Monday Night Football game was a tale of two halves! The San Francisco 49ers walked away with a 23-17 victory over the Washington Commanders, but somebody PLEASE get Washington a coach who knows how to run a 2-minute drill! I'm serious! For the SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK, Washington has managed to turn a potential game-winning drive into a complete disaster! Let's talk about it! The first half belonged to San Francisco. Brock Purdy and the 49ers looked absolutely UNSTOPPABLE! They moved the football up and down the field, controlled the clock, dominated time of possession, and made Washington's defense look like it was chasing ghosts! Christian McCaffrey was doing Christian McCaffrey things, finding ways to hurt Washington and scoring 2 touchdowns. And what made tonight even more special? Christian was playing against his own brother for the first time! Imagine that family conversation around Thanksgiving dinner! But then came HALFTIME! Somebody apparently flipped the switch on San Francisco's offense because the team that looked like a championship contender in the first half suddenly couldn't get anything going! The 49ers managed just ONE field goal in the entire second half! ONE! Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels and the Commanders weren't ready to roll over. Washington fought its way back into the football game, and suddenly what looked like a San Francisco runaway became a nail-biter! Give Washington credit. Their defense tightened up, their offense showed some fight, and Daniels helped give them an opportunity to steal a victory. But then came the final 2 minutes. OH, LORD, HERE WE GO AGAIN! For the second consecutive week, Washington's late-game clock management was absolutely ATROCIOUS! With the game on the line, Daniels committed intentional grounding, triggering a 10-second runoff. That left Washington with one final opportunity. And what happened? A SACK! GAME OVER! Somebody in Washington needs to pick up the telephone and call somebody who understands football fundamentals, clock management, and how to operate a 2-minute offense! You cannot keep putting yourself in position to win football games and then throw those opportunities away because you can't execute when the clock becomes your biggest enemy! San Francisco deserves credit for getting the victory. But the 49ers also have some serious questions to answer about their second-half offensive performance. You cannot dominate the first 30 minutes and then practically disappear offensively for the final 30 minutes and expect that formula to work every week. A win is a win, and the 49ers will gladly take this one! But Washington? That final drive needs to be studied in the film room, because something has GOT to change! What do you think? Did San Francisco win this game, or did Washington lose it with another disastrous 2-minute drill? #NFL #49ers #Commanders #MondayNightFootball #PapawDaddyDan
