one day your kids are going to be telling their kids about that time grandma loaded them all up nightgowns and all to go watch grandpa and how crazy and wonderful it felt to watch grandpa play after bedtime and feeling the night air in their hair as they raced across the field to give him a hug and what an incredible memory it is for them 🥰

The kids will never remember the times that mom/dad got them to bed on time… you can be DAMN sure they’ll remember the time Mom scrapped bed time and brought them to see daddy at his game. Core memories are always going to be more important then a proper amount of sleep 😂
