God did not empty himself and come down to earth. No he gave up his only begotten son to empty himself and come down to earth. To take a form way less than he had when he was in heaven. But he existed before not as God, but his God son. If he didn’t, then you won’t be able to explain John 3:16.

man is made in the image of God. a man can be a father and a son and a husband all at the same time and still be one man. God can be anything He wants to be at the same time and He told us He is just that. jesus said "I am" -"before Abraham I am" all things were made by Him for Him and nothing was created without Him. Jesus is the word "the word was God" "and the word became flesh " Jesus is God in flesh form. We cannot see the Father, the form of God that cannot be in the presence of sin. so when God needed to come save us all, he needed to take a form that we could see and look upon and not die. he took Human form so He could dwell with us and show us who He truly is. His sheep know Him.

Can humans do this ? ...no. But God isnt human is he ? Its something we arent capable of fully understanding because because we have nothing else we can compare it to. People forget that with God ALL things are possible , not just things we understand.

hmmm.. where jesus himself said he is god? nowhere .. even john who wrote gospel of john never said 'Jesus is god' explicitly.. why? even disciples who lives with jesus never said "oh jesus our god"..
