You're right, it does feel rigged. The officials extended Washington's drives at least four times with penalties, and I believe a couple of those came on fourth down, essentially keeping them in the game. I'm not necessarily saying the NFL cares who wins or loses, but I absolutely believe they have a vested interest in keeping games competitive. Close games keep viewers engaged, and viewers drive ratings and revenue. When questionable flags repeatedly give one team another opportunity, it's fair to question whether entertainment value is influencing the product on the field.
