he had to lose everyone in order to love himself, SJIWKAOWNEHEU it’s obviously good that he’s happy and can finally accept himself but everyone he ever knew (-anyone with supernatural abilities so one person) forgot him. his family, his friends, everyone. he can miss his family but no one will ever miss him, he is happy but it’s at such a cost and it’s such a great metaphor for what happens in real life. he sacrificed everything to be himself, he even gave up his humanity and a normal future. but he’s happy now, and maybe that’s all that really matters. it’s such a great and accurate representation. giving up stability and those who would never accept you, no matter how close they were to you, just so you can be with the one person you love and so you can finally be yourself. FEIWJWOWKWIWI it’s such a beautiful story, it’s so bittersweet, it’s a masterpiece.
