I remember when Michael Jackson said he wanted to sing because he saw James Brown performing as a kid. He always talked about how he looked up to James Brown. Guess who is king of pop? Most people today dont know who James Brown is. So just because BTS looks up to big bang means nothing. No disrespect to big bang but they are nowhere close to bts level.

People need to understand what paving the way means. BTS did kick the door wide open for other groups to have global success. That's what paving the way means, we're not ignoring that Big Bang wasn't an inspiration for BTS. We're not ignoring that G-Dragon was the first idol and group tour in the US we are saying BTS was the first group for K-pop to be seen on a global scale and have success worldwide.
