My heart broke swiping through those photos but I did it because all of those children deserved better. It’s completely shocking to me that this still happens daily and nobody does anything.

In Scotland we had one shooting the dunblane massacre. Kids were killed. After that guns were banned in the full uk and schools had key pads to get in and out they took precautions to make sure no one else was hurt like that. I wish America would wake up.

I wasn’t a mom when this happened. I cried for days. Attended the vigils. Protests. Marches. All for nothing. Now I watch my daughter, my only child, my entire heart and soul, get on the bus every morning. She’s in first grade. Our country is broken. This is the bad place.

So damn sad. That little detail about Noah being one of the last kids to get shot and likely being terrified really got to me. Like.. my son gets scared if a moth flies by him. What about a mad gunman?! Unfathomable. I cannot believe America has made no changes to their gun laws.

To think so many parents sent their children to do something special, making gingerbread houses with their class, so their children would have a fun memory. As almost all parents do. I make a point to send my child to school when a special event is planned. We just want what’s best for our babies, we never imagine something this tragic would happen 💔

I sobbed looking at their photos. As a mother it’s your worst nightmare, not even just them being gone but knowing they were scared and you couldn’t be there for them. My heart breaks for those parents
