I just finished my Masters in Theological Studies. Holy Ghost filled seminarian and I tell people this too. I told someone you have to choose to stay in relationship with Christ during seminary because if not, you may be steered away, but I came out with more fire than I had before because I read my Bible and forced Scripture into every paper I wrote even if it wasn’t needed. Holy Ghost truly walks me through the text. I tell people, my school didn’t teach me how to think and they didn’t give me not one interpretation, but I’m a stronger apologist, stronger teacher, and stronger believer in Jesus Christ because as a natural critical thinker and observer, seminary showed me my personal studies were on the right path.

I’m in my first year of seminary and this spoke to my heart! I came from the exact background you’re speaking of. Seminary was actually forbidden and I didn’t get much support from any church family but I knew what the Holy Ghost told me. Thank you for your content I LOVE your boldness and exegetical work for the “everyday believer”. Blessings to you and your family❤️

Yes! Originally I wanted to go 10 years ago but was convinced not to and got my Masters in Media Studies…10 years later I decided to go and I don’t regret it. Very eye opening!

I’ve also noticed that many seminarians are arrogant as a result of the knowledge they have. Sometimes, it’s hard to even discuss the faith with them because they have a debate mindset. It’s nice to talk to those who are less denomination based and more historical, apologetic, Holy Spirit based ones.
