I remember going to a wedding and the maid of honor was VERY pregnant. her dress was very flowy chiffon. she wore a Depends diaper because she just felt like her water was going to break during the ceremony... and it did! She had the most amazing poker face I think I've ever experienced. Smiled through contractions as she stood up there. Glowed in every picture the photographer insisted on retaking over and over. No one knew she went into labor until they realized she wasn't at the reception. 😉 Baby was born at the hospital 2 hours later. Cake wasn't even cut yet. 😂 (Girl, 9lbs 7oz, 21" long)

I was the matron of honor and I gave birth the very next day after my sister‘s wedding. She called to tell me they were heading off to their honeymoon and I told her I was heading off to the hospital.

I remember going to a baby shower where the mom to be refused to leave even though she was in active labor. she sat through 3 1/2 hours for that event and then went to the hospital. her daughter is now in high-school.
