It’s called light house keeping. Meaning wash patient clothes, cook meals, medication reminders, clean patient areas. Not clean the entire house where other family members live. That’s why I had to stop home health. Now if the patient live alone that’s a different story.

I have a care giver & I always made it clear to watch my mom but if mom is asleep I don’t mind the phone as long as they’re right next to her or asleep .. But as far as cleaning or washing dishes I don’t expect any of it except for moms room or anything pertaining to her as far as anything she uses & gets dirty than yes they should clean or wash ..

that how they disrespect use and abuse home health aide in the sake of working for their beloved one you became they slave at some point talking any how because you set bundaries or don't want to do certains things that ur not supposed to do in first place as ur not Housekeeper but home health aide this work is so underpaid to carry that much mental and physical abuse shame.

Apparently the daughter don’t know what this job details. She don’t suppose to clean the house. Only where the mother lives. I heard her say she didn’t clean the other bathroom. I think she’s confused. I can guarantee you this is being paid by the state .

Bro, when I saw this, I laughed because I went to CNA school and even in the CNA books they legit tell us that we’re not supposed to clean the patients house that is not our job. Our job is to take care of the patient not clean their house.
