That is exactly the kind of slogan they used back then, and it is how the whole practice of giving gold for peace offerings started. This all happened in the beginning, long before science was ever thought of as a way to explain how the world started. If you look closely at history, they used Christianity as a business to get more money from people and literally manipulate them. It was actually insane. If you did certain things, you were banned from the church, which was devastating because the church was the entire center of the community. They used fear to control everyone. Over the years, the Bible has changed a lot. They add new things that are considered sins now, just as they did back then to suit their own agendas. They used to use Christianity in the most manipulative ways to extract things from people. A lot of times, I feel like if God speaks to me directly, that is the only time I am going to actually believe it is true. And this is why my beliefs are starting to shift. Ever since I started to really read the Bible for myself, I realized that I have been taught a certain thing my whole life and only shown specific verses to keep me on the side of Christianity. But looking at the whole text, if God is real, it feels like He hates women. Why do we have to bear all the pain for labor and endure everything else? It is actually insane. If this text is real, then God hates women, and I say this with my whole chest. I believe in a higher power but I don’t know about this one

I remember when I was in 5th grade and went to a Christian school one of the girls asked “how aren’t we all related if Adam and Eve were the first humans” ever since then that was the only thing I thought about when it came to Christianity

I just don’t understand🤷🏽♀️. Why would God make our counterparts people who don’t like us. Men don’t like us when we age, they don’t like us when we’re childless, they don’t like us when we have our own hobbies. Why would God make our counterparts unchanging cheaters? Ephesians 5:25 “Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave his life up for her” Colossians 3:19 “Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.” Just because the bible sets an order of men leading their wives God makes it clear on what that means. A man is meant to die for his wife and give himself up to her and wives do the same. Woman aren’t asked to do anything a man isn’t told to do also. Honestly men are told to do more.
