I interviewed for a chef position at a stadium in Sydney, im a casual at the one next door too, got told I got the job during the interview and theyd send me the paperwork in a few days. a week goes by and I get an email saying I didnt get the position. I did something unprofessional and looked up the executive chefs email (he interviewed me) and asked him what happened bc he said i got the job and he just said he interviewed a better candidate after me. Why tf would you tell someone they got the job then?

I work in Nightfill at Woolies. My store was 300 hours down for the week. We're screaming at management for more staff, but they won't hire anyone. We usually have 8-10 people per shift, now we have 3.

I once spilled for a job at cash converters. They scheduled a phone interview for something like 11am the next day. By 4pm I called them back and got told the manager had a meeting and forgot, could we reschedule. We did, they didn’t call, I called them and the person wasn’t even working that day. I did not reschedule a third attempt

When I was the manager at glamaco they made me go over all the back log resumes they had stored, reach out to everyone and follow up after 12 days if I haven’t heard anything. Some of these resumes were sent in years before I was a manager. Safe to say I didn’t bother with anything over a year old because why. - I was written up for not following instructions
