If you have never applied anywhere before, you can still comment your interest, but know it can be difficult to find a rescue that will approve you last minute. 📣 **be advised animals may have a short term upper respiratory illness or other contagious illness. It is recommended to keep existing pets in your household separated from fosters the first 14 days in your home. Dogs that develop respiratory symptoms while still at the shelter are typically treated with a combination of Doxycycline, Amoxicillin, Azithromycin, and cough suppressants. Most of those dogs recover within about 7 days. This combination of medicine is EXTREMELY important, particularly including Azithromycin. One of the earliest and most important indicators is increased respiratory rate.** ‼️ Please see DETAILED INFORMATION here ⬇️ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DaoQecXTV/?mibextid=wwXIfr Pledges will really help as most of these animals need medical care and rescues are 100% funded by donations! If you cannot foster or donate, please share their faces! #urgentokc #okc #foster #rescue #oklahoma - @heyyitskelleigh
