Everyone says "I don't want temporary, I want permanent" — which is valid. But permanent needs principles. As men, we come with principles not to control a woman, but to protect her and protect the relationship. The problem is, some of us come from single life where we do whatever we want, whenever we want. Then we enter a relationship and we still want that same freedom. When your partner corrects you in a mature way, it's not control, it's structure. If there are no principles, no boundaries, no respect for each other, how will it become permanent? Permanent only works when two people agree to be guided together.
