I hear many people making comments and talking about open borders and immigration. We are told every day that Muslims are the problem and the reason for the problems in the western world. That the Jews are the chosen people and that we must support Israel in all aspects. Even if we don’t agree with the things that they are doing or else we are the enemy. And if we don’t support them? We are the problem and we are spreading antisemitism and hate. We are told that we have to apologize for mistakes that white people thousands of years ago made. the hate that’s being preached by governments all over the west. But doesn’t that debate point to a much bigger problem across the Western world? So many people seem unwilling to look beyond the headlines. They buy into the hate speech that these days is what politicians have as their day job as it seems. The bigger question is this. And this is just my opinion based on what I have been talking about the past 8 years. So it’s not like I haven’t spoken these words before. The problem aren’t the people that cross our borders. The problem isn’t us as humanity so please take an minute and listen to what I’ve got to say about this. And take it to your heart and please think about these words. Who creates these policies? Who makes these decisions? Who keeps making promises every time you head to the polls—and who is held accountable when those promises are broken? When will people start questioning whether democracy and the system built around it actually serve the people they claim to represent? To me, the problem is clear: those in power keep failing the public, yet we keep rewarding them with our votes, our money, and our trust. Open your eyes. Think critically. Stop voting for politicians who evade accountability and protect those responsible for serious wrongdoing. Stop accepting empty promises while nothing changes. Why should we keep funding a system that fails us and then expect different results? Wake the hell up. Demand accountability.
