Another checkup, another milestone, and another reason to be thankful. 🙏 Seven months ago, we were praying for the day Elias would have a healthy kidney. Today, we walked into his appointment with smiles instead of fear. His kidney is doing amazing, his labs look beautiful, his medications have decreased, and his appointments are finally becoming more spaced out. 🥹💚 After everything this boy has been through, seeing him healthy, happy, and enjoying life is something I will NEVER take for granted. Creatinine: 0.76 BUN: 13 Numbers that might not mean much to some, but to a kidney mom, they mean EVERYTHING. Seven months of second chances, answered prayers, and watching my boy get his childhood back. Forever grateful to his donor, his incredible medical team, and everyone who continues to pray for him.
