@recycledstardust555: I couldn’t do Pikes Peak Hwy cuz it was the day I was driving home and my finances were looking grim so I had to look for a free mountain to drive up! I am just a girl that loves mountains with a mountain tattoo…Mother Earth/God’s Country should be free for all and not for profit is my humble opinion. Who charges money to people that are possibly risking their lives. Who charges money to people to drive up a mountain that the Goddess and God made? Who charges money to people to drive on a road. If you think about it some more, it is actually crazy that some humans have gatekept some beautiful destinations that all humans should experience. That is one of my biggest pet peeves and ick! I trued to go up Eagle Mountain and they had a sign and a gatekeeper saying this is a private drive! Since when do people claim their own mountains and say no one else can visit it!
