@pro.glitch: How to build an AI team in Claude Code for your actual job, every step An AI team in Claude Code is made of three pieces. Here's what each one is, and why each job gets the piece it gets. A page it reads before every chat. Every new chat starts blank, so you give Claude one page about you, your manager, your sheet and your rules. Claude Code calls it CLAUDE.md. Don't write it yourself. Type: "Interview me about my job, one question at a time. Then write CLAUDE.md." The connections. On claude.ai, open Customize, then Connectors, and sign in to Gmail and Google Drive. Claude only sees what your account can see. Work account? Ask IT first. The lock. Every app has buttons Claude can press: read, draft, send. A line on the page saying "drafts only" is a request. A deny rule in settings is a lock that Claude Code enforces. Type: "In this project, block every tool, on every app, that sends, replies, forwards or deletes. Drafts only." Then look for the stars in the file. A star means any app name. A skill = a how-to card. Claude keeps only the card's title and its "use when" line in mind. It pulls out the full steps when the job comes up. Your Monday report is a skill, and a small script inside it does the counting, because code counts the same way every time. On a test sheet it counted 1,085 rows, then stopped to ask about 3 blank cells instead of guessing. A subagent = a helper in a separate room. It gets a clean head, a short list of buttons, and brings back only the summary. Your inbox is a subagent, because reading every email would flood your chat, and its button list is just search, read and draft. On a test inbox it wrote 4 drafts, listed 7 things that need you, and flagged a phishing email. Research is a second helper with web search only. You get a link on every claim, or it says unverified. The clock. In the Claude desktop app's Code tab, type "Every Monday at eight, run my monday-report skill." Then click Run now and pick Always allow. The app has to stay open and the laptop awake. If this feels like a lot, it is, and it's doable. My Claude Code From Zero course teaches the page, skills and the lock. My AI Command Center course teaches the connections, subagents and schedules. Plus six more courses inside my community. If you're interested, the link is in my profile. #aiautomation #aiemployee #aiagents
