Funnily enough cooking with wine was the one time I felt ok doing it. Funny the garbage you tell yourself to justify it! The amount of food I burnt, or it took hours longer than it needed to because I was getting blind

i worked arvo shift for 10 years, didn't drink during the week. weekend 30 pack of beer and a bottle of whisky thatll be gone sat sun. today im retired, i might call into my local to catch up with friends once a month. i only have 2 whiskeys and thats it. i know im a alcoholic always will be. but the steak does taste better. my health went down hill now im paying for it. end stage kidney failure. i live my life staying positive. i fish, golf weekends away enjoying this country. i will get a transplant i dont want to fuck it up.
