The Ethiopian Orthodox Church was too busy being in bed with the ruling class, enjoying the privileges of the palace instead of educating the people. It promoted mythology as truth, fueled division, and failed to spread its teachings widely across the country. It served the rulers more than the people.

nop, it is not that true! the church claims she is around more than 1500 yrs! they didn't even cover southern part of ethiopia.
