I came across this video and I said, YES! THIS CANNOT BE OVEREMPHASISED. If you have left a toxic marriage or a dysfunctional family, PRAY O! PRAY! PRAY! 🙏🏽 Whatever you do, don’t joke with your prayer life. Pray for God’s grace, pray for His protection, pray for His favour, and pray that the doors of heaven remain open over your life. Because sometimes, when certain people feel they have lost control over you, the things they do can leave you wondering if you ever truly knew them. I remember when someone came out and made a 20-part video series about me, spewing lies about me when, deep down, she knew the truth. TWENTY PARTS! And after all of that, she still had the audacity to say in the 20th video, “Oh, you know I love you.” Love who? Evil and manipulative people… And it didn’t end there. This same person would go into other people’s comment sections to talk about me, insult me, and call me all sorts of names. And all of this, when the person knew the truth. Till today, whenever I remember those videos, the comments, the insults, and everything that happened, I take it to God in prayer. I keep saying, “God, no matter how long it takes, may the lies she told against me eat her up. May she bear the consequences of every lie she knowingly told. May every lie told by those who knew the truth come back to haunt them. May everyone who participated in that campaign against me reap the fruits of their own actions.” I will not pretend that those things didn’t happen, and I will not pretend that they didn’t hurt. God knows what I went through, and He knows the truth behind every single thing that was said. But above everything, I THANK GOD FOR HIS GRACE UPON MY LIFE. ❤️🙏🏽 I thank Him for the growth, for the healing, for the strength, and for where I am today. When I look at my life now, I know it could only have been God. He carried me through things I cannot even begin to explain. So, if you have walked away from a dysfunctional family, a toxic marriage, or any environment that tried to break you, PRAY O! PRAY! PRAY! Pray for strength, pray for wisdom, pray for protection, and pray for divine vindication. I may not know when or how, but I leave everything in God’s hands.
