He tends to keep to himself and can become fearful when approached, especially in his kennel or when unfamiliar people attempt to handle him. Kiko will need an experienced, patient caregiver who understands fearful dogs, respects his boundaries and can help him build trust at his own pace. His previous owner reported that he is crate trained and has had mixed experiences with children and other dogs. A calm, structured environment with careful introductions and plenty of space would be important for Kiko as he adjusts. Owner Surrender Notes 10/13/26: ASO arrived at listed location and made contact with caller. Caller stated that the dog started getting aggressive when she had her baby almost a year ago and the behavior is not getting any better. they stated that the dog lives outside but they fear that the dog will bite the child because the dog has barked and growled at the child many times before. Caller stated that the dog is not good with strangers, Owner seemed to be scared from the conversation ASo had with owner about the dog. Owner waseven scared to get the dog from cage in backyard. ASO was able to get into the cage and getthe aggressive dog on the catch pole. He never stopped barking at ASO. He is very aggressive. ASO did phase one. ASo uploaded OS.
