yeah her court order states that the cops are responsible for the drop off due to a domestic violence situation. and yes in that situation you have to drop them off and leave then the parent that has a visit picks the kids up. that's how it went for me.

The only thing about this that makes sense is the fact it states they’re not allowed around each-other. So I understand the visual of seeing him and then leaving the area. I don’t understand taking an hour to return after being told your kids were left or not waiting somewhere far but close to see the exchange happening on his part.

my ex tried doing this too, but he thought he could take them in like a daycare. literally surrendering custody in our state. after I told him it was, he instead false reported abuse. Cops were pissed and threatened pressing charges.
