@thebritspot: Big up everyone involved in this initiative 👏❤️ Women's Street Watch was set up by Charlie following the murders of Sarah Everard and Sabina Nessa in 2021 and provides a safe space for women in Newcastle and Middlesbrough. They provide peer-led street support, assistance with taxis and supplies like water, snacks, phone chargers, drink covers and flip-flops. "Our big dream would be to not only run shifts Friday and Saturday, but also Monday and Wednesday to catch the student night," Charlie said. "The more of us there are, the more work we can do, the further through the city we can spread." Via: (IG/womensstreetwatchboro, womensstreetwatch_uk)
