@ezralewisfarms: A man healed after thirty-eight years identified to the religious leaders that Jesus was the One who made him whole. That moment set the opposition that would eventually lead to Christ's crucifixion. The same hands that restored a broken life would soon be nailed to a cross. Sometimes the sweetest rain on a field is followed by the darkest storm. It doesn't take long to learn that not every creature approaching the feed comes with good intentions. A fence is built because trust alone won’t hold a pasture. John 5:15 reminds us that humanity has a deep problem. Even when confronted with undeniable grace, people often respond with suspicion, pride, or self-interest. Jesus healed a man completely, yet the focus quickly shifted from the miracle to finding fault with the Miracle Maker. Still, Christ didn’t turn back. He knew where the road led and kept walking toward Calvary. When disappointments remind us how unreliable humanity is, we can rest in the faithfulness of our Savior. The hearts of men will wander like cattle, but the Good Shepherd never abandons His flock and never fails to finish the work He begins. Place your faith in God, not man. “The man went away and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had made him well.” -John‬ ‭5‬:‭15‬ #god #farmlife #nature #goat #trust
