Carrie is not scary at all it's just sad. and it's a very good movie, the brian de palma version of course. you should watch it. and if you want something funny and super creative watch Braindead by Peter Jackson the pratical effects are insane

ooh you have some work to do XD Blair wotch project the marketing it had was that's it's actually found footage edited, so documentary, which made it even scarier, no social media to confirm and press tours etc until you watch the movie in cinema and see credits and it's 😂

I’d say the best horror movies or the ones I favor the most are the ones with dark humor like Weapons and Barbarian by Zach Cregger, Curry Barker’s Obsession, the Jordan Peele movies. It’s like when you watch the scary scenes and jumpscares it makes you think more of the creative writing that juxtaposed the humor with the horror. Idk if I’m making sense but yeah

Halloween isn't only horror, it's also Tim Burton, like Nightmare before Christmas, or Hocus Pocus, Adams Family, Teen Wolf(1985 film), the craft, lost boys, hotel transylvania and more
