literally you are ignoring the entire nodkrai aq. columbina went by the Damselette and Columbina while she was in the fatui. when she left she renamed herself in order to connect her to teyvat (like how the Natlan names connect them so they can be revived) she does this and assumes her own identity which helps her assume her position as the new moon. the tsaritsa is recognizing and accepting columbinas new self, confirming that the name she gave her when she joined the fatui is still what she chooses to call herself. she is essentially allowing columbina the freedom that she did not get as a member of the fatui while she is visiting shneznaya. People have been clipping this interaction in order to convince others that hoyos writing is worse than it is when they can't even comprehend it.

it's because she never really had any opinions on names believing they were just labels so when she was fading back because tayvat never accepted her until she chose her name as columbina hyposolina (after she ran from the fatui) so the tsaritsa prob just always called her damsellet
