@simplypatrickyt: The Uma Musume Pretty Derby 7th Event World Tour "The Stage" stop in Los Angeles, planned for 22 and 23 October at the Peacock Theater, is officially cancelled. In a follow-up statement, the organisers said they could not obtain the visas needed to enter the United States, despite working with US lawyers and promoters for more than six months. Refunds will cover both on-site viewing tickets and streaming tickets. The organisers are also looking into possible responses for trainers who planned to attend in person. Details of that have not been shared yet. This was the first world tour in the franchise's live event history, and the Los Angeles shows were its first stop outside Japan. The tour began in Tokyo in June, with London, Seoul and Yokohama still scheduled. Sources / References 👉 https://x.com/umamusume_eng/status/2112401161940529303 #umamusume

Yom2 :

It's time to use this

Jericaw :

I am genuinely gutted, actively cried at my gym yesterday upon hearing the news. But Jungle Pocket would want me to push forward and so that is what I will do.

Balst :

Damn you US government

Yoshino_o7 :

i felt bad after seeing this.

🇳🇴Tyler! (Tord's husband) :

this is what happens when we Americans allow our government to defund the institutions in charge of processing visas! please get out and vote to make sure this doesnt happen again!!!

fresh24prince :

I wonder how that will work because I canceled my hotel and airfare, and I had the VIP tickets. I live in the US but its still halfway across the country. If they are willing to compensate me or hook me up with something, that would be awesome. Even if it's something small... better than nothing. Maybe they will mail us the VIP items?

KittySan Black :

So the Kitasan plushie isn’t canon anymore ? Can i still buy her ? 😭😭😭

Kitty :

Pinchie :

While it isn't the actual umas, there are some umamusume events happening this weekend in LA if you were planning on coming for the concert! Cosplay Trackside at Santa Anita Racetrack is going to have a ton of uma fans and it's at one of America's most historic tracks!

brub :

well..

Golem19100 :

RIP Daichi Tsuchida

Sienna ❤️💙💛 :

How are they only finding out about the visas this late?

Pro_crafted something :

Taiki how hard is getting a US visa

Raul Evans :

they need to change the scenario name to "UMA not in America" for a week

Hetawater22 :

ig no Uma in America.... ☹️☹️

Aaron Montalvo :

I swear if Cygames announces they'll shut down the Global server because of this and the fact that Umamusume is losing popularity because of that and fandom drama and we'll NEVER GET MORE UMA CONTENT NOR MORE UMA ANIME EVER AGAIN...

SPOOKY SON OF A BITCH :

a double punch the Trainer VA passed 😭

NorthBound :

The merch that V.I.Ps purchased should be able to be sold for those of us who were planning on traveling. Even though I live in the country, I'm still unable to refund my hotel and am going to attend the fan events instead. I'd love to see the merch see the light of day.

TenshiiNomi :

Maybe have it in the UK?

StrawHatGirl :

the visa processing in the us just sucks a$$

bingabon1 :

Nooo that’s unfortunate😓
