And this is why even at 40 I refuse to spend Christmas anywhere other than with my family. Christmas is so important in our family, we even go and buy a tree together every year. So I wouldn’t like someone else’s rituals

Aww although it wasn’t your ideal Christmas I do love that everyone does it differently and it makes me sad that people judge others Christmasas harshly 🥲, I’d be really upset if a guest hated my christmas

I don’t celebrate Xmas anymore. A few years back my husband went to his family for Xmas. I stayed at home alone. (Didn’t know until the day). So I stayed in bed and chilled. He came back at 11pm drunk thankfully with a plate of food. I was asleep - because it was pointless being up - but when I found the food. The cat was already eating it. No gifts for me.
