Just dump old water out, refill with distilled and trickle charge overnight, works everytime.

just trickle chstge overnight and they usually work. then throw a cheap maintainer from harbor freight on it. so you always have a hot battery.

Not all the time. i used to work for exide, and the plates on the inside of batteries are coated with a calcium paste. And over time, the calcium paste will fall off the plates and sit at the bottom of the battery, therefore, making them useless to ever take a charge again.

Open that battery up. you'll find a bunch of mush at the bottom of the battery they used to be the plates

When I was young we bought 'rebuilt' batteries. they dumped the old acid and refilled them the batteries had a 6 month warranty and usually lasted at least 6 months
