🚨 Raphinha on what Luis Enrique was saying to him during PSG’s 4-2 victory over Barcelona: 🎙️ Reporter: Raphinha, cameras caught Luis Enrique giving you advice after you failed to get past William Pacho. What was he saying to you? 🗣️ Raphinha: “Honestly, it was quite funny. Imagine playing against another team, and their manager is the one trying to coach you! [Laughs] “I had just attempted a dribble against Pacho, lost the ball, and turned around. Luis Enrique immediately started talking to me. He said, ‘You should have cut inside. Make sure the ball is closer to your feet before attempting a dribble like that. You can do better, lad.’ “I looked at him and smiled because, honestly, what else could I do? I’m playing against his team, we’re trying to beat PSG, and their manager is standing there telling me how to improve my game! “But deep down, I knew he was right. That wasn’t how I wanted to execute the move. I rushed it, gave Pacho the chance to deal with me, and lost possession. Luis spotted the mistake immediately. “What made it funny was that he didn’t have to say anything. He could have simply watched me lose the ball and been happy that his team had regained possession. Instead, he was trying to correct me in the middle of a match against his own team. “I know he has a strong connection with Barcelona, and perhaps there’s still a little affection there. But I also think that’s simply the kind of coach he is. He sees something that can be improved, and he wants to correct it, even when the player he’s correcting is wearing the opposition’s shirt. “I appreciated that moment. Obviously, I wasn’t happy about losing the ball, and I definitely wasn’t happy about losing the match 4-2. But when a coach of his level takes the time to explain what you could have done better, you listen. “Next time, though, I hope he waits until after the final whistle to give me the instructions. At least let me finish playing against him first!” “That’s a great coach. And maybe next time I face his team, I’ll remember his advice and make sure I don’t give him another reason to coach me from the touchline.”#barcelona #psg #championsleague #fanbase #semu
