@fairytaletravelguide: When I’m planning a trip with my kids, I’m not just asking “where do we want to go?” I’m also looking at how the whole trip will actually work. I think about the full travel day, how we’ll get from the airport to the hotel, whether we’ll need car seats, how manageable the hotel location is, which stroller makes sense, how much we can realistically carry, and how much time we’ll spend getting from place to place. But I don’t need every part of a trip to be easy. If there’s somewhere we really want to go, I’m usually willing to figure out the complicated parts.
