After having our 2nd my husband and I went multiple months without date nights. He’s 11 months now and we STILL have yet to get a full day out. Last date we had was going to howl o scream at Seaworld and getting a hotel for the night. Then we rushed home that morning to relieve my mom of kid & baby duty. If we don’t have a babysitter we either take our kids or plan for a day together if possible or just not do anything at all. It’s stressful sometimes but that’s what we chose and we have good and bad days but I’d never leave my kids behind.

welcome to the world of being a parent who gives a shit if u never get a day out alone. my wife and I go everywhere with our child. when we do have a baby sitter. were like it's so strange its so quiet. we miss kiddo when he's not with us. once u have a child your needs go away your soul focus should be that child.
