I did the same thing. But the back hatch wasn’t locked. When I opened it, it was full of items that were not mine. I was baffled at first, then realized it wasn’t my car. Mine was parked opposite it. Ugh. I got away, loaded my car, and saw the actual owner come out and go to his car. Thankful I wasn’t seen. Embarrassed. 😳 Same darn car.

😂😂😂this is not fake. It happens. I parked my car down the street from the restaurant I was in. A car like mines pulled up and parked right in front of the restaurant. When I came out. Me not paying attention distracted , was trying to unlock the car and pulling on the door , the person was sitting right in the car looking at me. 🤣🤣🤣 when I realized it wasn’t my car I was so embarrassed.. so yes it does happen. Even in parking lots u forget where u park your car and if the same car is in the lot u mistakenly go to that car .. 🙄🙄

This is why I have a Harley Davidson sticker in the back of my car so whenever I’m in doubt, I just look at the back just to make sure.
