@vinehealed: To the woman who was unstoppable yesterday… but can barely find the motivation to start today: WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT PERIMENOPAUSE. ❤️ This weekend, a friend visited, and our conversation has stayed with me. We talked about the changes we’re experiencing in our bodies and minds. The exhaustion. The brain fog. The emotional ups and downs. Feeling like a different person from one day to the next. One day, you’re focused, excited, making plans, and ready for everything. The next? You KNOW what needs doing, but can’t find the mental energy to begin. Your dreams didn’t disappear overnight. Neither did your ambition. That’s a side of perimenopause I wish more women talked about. It’s not just hot flashes or changes in your cycle. Hormonal fluctuations can affect sleep, mood, concentration, memory, and energy. Explaining that to someone who hasn’t experienced it can feel impossible. Now add motherhood. And entrepreneurship. I’m a single mother raising two children, managing a home, and building a business I believe in. I’m surrounded by an incredible team closing deals and growing. I celebrate their success. But some days I struggle to accomplish what I know I’m capable of. And that’s where the guilt comes in. The client I needed to call. The follow-up I didn’t finish. The work I had every intention of doing. Because when you’re the one responsible for providing for your children, a day when you can’t show up the way you planned doesn’t just feel unproductive. It can feel financially scary. And on top of that, you’re still making meals, managing schedules, tending to emotions, comforting your babies, and being the person everyone turns to. The business doesn’t pause for motherhood. Motherhood doesn’t pause for the business. And neither one pauses for perimenopause. But here’s what my friend reminded me this weekend, and it’s something I really needed to hear: Look at everything you’re already doing. Look at the children you’re raising, the home you’re maintaining, the obstacles you’re overcoming, and the love and stability you’re giving your family. I hadn’t stopped to give myself credit for any of that. It’s not that I’m comparing my life to someone else’s. It’s that I’ve become so accustomed to carrying so much on my own that I sometimes forget how extraordinary that load really is. I’ve been looking at the business goals I haven’t reached and overlooking the places where I’m absolutely SLAYING in life. And maybe another woman needs that reminder, too. Your worth isn’t measured by how many boxes you check today. Your drive hasn’t disappeared because your energy feels different. And needing support or rest isn’t a character flaw. I’m learning that my capacity can change without my purpose changing. I’m learning that faith and exhaustion can exist in the same moment. I can trust God with my future and still admit that some days are genuinely hard. Most of all, I’m learning how healing it can be to hear another woman say, “I understand. I’m going through it, too.” We need honest conversations about perimenopause. These symptoms are real, they affect daily life, and we deserve care. If they’re disrupting your life, it’s worth speaking with a knowledgeable healthcare professional. So, ladies, I want to hear from you: Has perimenopause affected your motivation, focus, or confidence in ways you weren’t prepared for? Let’s make this a conversation other women don’t have to feel alone in. ❤️ 🌿 Share this with a woman who needs the reminder, and follow @vinehealed for honest conversations about motherhood, faith, healing, and the seasons we don’t talk about enough. #Perimenopause #PerimenopauseAwareness #SingleMomLife #WomenSupportingWomen #VineHealed
