@katherinecopeland0: A Great Pyrenees named Casper reportedly faced off with 11 coyotes on a Georgia farm. The coyotes were threatening the sheep and his owner's pregnant dog. Casper killed three of them inside the pen. Then he jumped a 4-foot fence and chased the rest of the pack through the neighbors' yards. The chase lasted about 30 minutes. By the end, he had killed 8 of the 11 coyotes. The next morning, his owner found dead coyotes along the nearby railroad tracks. Then Casper vanished. He was missing for two days. When he finally came home, he was covered in infected wounds. His owner, John Wierwille, feared he might not survive. Casper needed several surgeries and 15 days with an emergency vet. Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta helped get him through it. He came out with a bald spot on his back, a scarred ear and a docked tail. But he was back on the job by June 1. His reward for chasing off coyotes is a hamburger. He was even nominated for the American Farm Bureau's Farm Dog of the Year. #casper #greatpyrenees #dogsoftiktok #dog
