@worldunseen247: Ash Dykes gave us an update during last night’s livestream, revealing that he, Will, and Obed are now halfway through their journey down the Congo Basin, with approximately 400 km left to cover. During the expedition, the team encountered killer bees while travelling in their kayaks. With limited options, they had to move away as quickly as possible. They later settled in a local community across the riverbank, where they witnessed locals making whiskey. So far, the team has encountered hippos, gorillas, and elephants, but Ash reported that they have yet to encounter any crocodiles. According to Ash, Project 6 is expected to be completed in approximately two weeks. He also reflected on deforestation along the Congo Basin, describing what he has been noticing while travelling by kayak through this remarkable region.
