As a zoro fan Its not weak writing just he’s THAT simple. Train get stronger be the strongest swordsman. Sanji is a wayyy deeper character tho he has a dream but has trauma and a terrible fast along with demons to face on his own. Zoro already leaking it but having to refine it such as a great swordsman refines his skill not sm get more powerful and for sanji he’s learning to let himself BE himself his conq haki being locked away until he truly accepts himself and really willing to LIVE for his dream is what makes his writing deeper. I’m a zoro fan but takes a soul to understand sanji

lowkey it’s not poor writing to me, the community just thinks one piece will end how they want individually, zoro has had conquerors for a long time but had to lock in to use it, just like how luffy got advanced observation, sanji was barely behind the barriers of conquerors and just needed that push, they both are fighting the top of the top, they both acknowledged they are on a yonko crew and need to fight like that, it’s only right they unlock conquerors, if they unlocked it before this point it would reduce the impact of their other awakaneings in their other fights, but this is just my take on it
