Sometimes, the chapter that breaks you is the very chapter that teaches you how to surrender. If I had to tell you when I truly learned to let go and let God, it was during one of the most painful seasons of my life. I was going through a divorce in my first marriage, facing the reality of 50/50 time-sharing with my beautiful son. One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to experience was not being able to kiss him good morning or goodnight every single day, not being there for every little celebration, every milestone, every high, and every low. As a mother, there are no words to explain that kind of heartbreak. 💔 And as if that wasn’t enough, my mother was also battling cancer. I found myself in a season where I couldn’t fix everything, couldn’t control the outcome, and couldn’t make the pain disappear. There were days when I felt like I had absolutely nothing left to give. That’s when these words became more than just a saying to me: “When you can’t stand, fall to your knees…Let go and let God.” Those words carried me through some of the hardest days, months, and years of my life. Now, looking back 12 years later, I can honestly say that while there are still difficult days, I am not the same woman I was back then. When I look at how far God has brought me, I see His grace in places where I once saw only pain. I see His strength in the moments when I had none of my own. Because sometimes, heaven meets earth in the very moments when we have nothing left. When you’re so emotionally exhausted that even getting out of bed feels impossible, when you’ve cried all the tears you have, when you’ve prayed and prayed but still don’t understand why you’re walking through what you’re walking through… THAT is when surrender becomes real. Not when you have all the answers. Not when everything finally makes sense. But when you get on your knees and say: “Lord, I can’t do this anymore. My cup is empty. I have no strength left. I surrender. I release what I cannot control, and I trust You to take over. Even when I don’t understand, I choose to trust You.” And do you know what I’ve learned? God never asked me to be strong enough to carry everything on my own. He asked me to trust Him with what was too heavy for me to carry. 📖 2 Corinthians 12:9–10 reminds us that His grace is sufficient for us and that His power is made perfect in weakness. And that is my testimony. When I am weak, HE IS STRONG. If you’re in a season where you feel like you have nothing left, please hear me: you don’t have to have it all together to come to God. Come broken. Come tired. Come with your questions, your tears, and your empty cup. Lay it at His feet. You may not understand this chapter right now, but you can trust the One who is walking through it with you. ❤️ LET GO. LET GOD. AND TRUST HIM WITH THE CHAPTER YOU CANNOT CONTROL. Have you ever walked through a season that taught you what it truly means to surrender to God? I would love to hear your story in the comments. 🙏 What moment would you say that you Let go and let God? ##chritiantiktok##christian##letgoandletgod##God
