As I talk with neighbors across our district, child care cost and access, and the stress of figuring things out as costs continue to rise come up again and again. Let me be direct - child care is an economic development issue. When parents can’t find or afford care, they cut hours, turn down promotions, or leave the workforce altogether, and our local employers are negativley impacted, too. We need real, systemic change. In Albany, I will fight to bring the universal pre-K and 2-K access other parts of the state are getting to Western New York. As a dad of two, I know how stressful finding care can be, and I will work every day to deliver for families who are starting out or growing here. #childcare #politics #buffalo
